Introduction

Soon every hero whose label warns of a cooldown is going to be put back on the shelf as we all move to 200ms attack cycles. What's the point of any power that only works once each 6 seconds, if in that time you'll make 30 attacks at over a thousand percent strength each?

The ticket to this new world is a Pumpkin Duke whose skill levels and Berserk talent add up to 12 or more. I.e. you need both a high level of skill and a high Berserk talent. If you don't have these or worse yet no Pumpkin Duke, you won't get there.

For example say we have a level 150 Pumpkin Duke with Berserk 4 and skill 8. This is a pricey asset so we inscript him to 81, with Life Drain 3 crests.

Now let's try a simple scenario where this PD is clawing his way through a hostile wall or beating on some other non-resisting target:

10.6 2.10 14.4, 18.6 PD attacks seven more times and procs again, now has 25 energy, and Attack Speed 800 / 2.1 = 381, which rounds up to 400ms.
13.0 3.05 14.4, 18.6, 21.0 PD attacks six more times and procs again, now has 15 energy, and Attack Speed 800 / 3.05 = 262, which still rounds up to 400ms.
15.8 3.05 18.6, 21.0, 23.8 PD attacks seven more times and procs again, now has 20 energy, and Attack Speed 800 / 3.05 = 262, which still rounds up to 400ms.
18.2 4.42 18.6, 21.0, 23.8, 26.2 PD attacks six more times and procs again, now has 10 energy, and Attack Speed 800 / 4.42 = 181, which rounds up to 200ms.

So we now see that PD can reach the 200ms point on his own, which will over time grant him 8 seconds / (200ms per attack times 7 attacks per proc) = five fold stacking and a multiplier of 6.41. This not only pulls PD down to 200ms, but also every other hero with an Attack Speed of 1200ms or less.

Impact of 200ms Attack Speed on other heroes.

Druid: Druid's skill stacks and has no cooldown so the five second duration divided by 1.4 seconds per proc grants three fold stacking. Skill level 7 normally grants a 29% boost in Attack Strength and that is now +115%, multiplied on top of PD's multiplier we get a total multiplier of 13.76 Since the PD example above only has a ratio of 9.2 between HP and DAM, all normal attacks are now one shot kills vs almost all targets, and these one-shot-kills are delivered five times a second. For example this PD now does 95k damage per attack, shredding the maximum possible Arrow Tower with one hit. Except for the requirement to move between targets (at a movement rate of 1300), he could tear down all five possible defending towers in one second.

Cupid: Thanks to his cooldown, Cupid will proc only twice over a 12 second span, adding an additional proc to each of five other heroes. Therefore Cupid adds a total of seven procs over 12 seconds (counting his own). However Cupid is replacing a non-cooldown hero like Thunder God who will proc every 1.4 seconds, for a total of 8.5 procs. So adding Cupid reduces the total number of procs delivered.
